Criteria for Review
The editorial board assesses submissions for inclusion in the repository
based on the following criteria (Scale = not at all, somewhat, definitely):
Quality of Content
The content of the tool is accurate
The use of technology is appropriate for this content.
The content is presented clearly and professionally (spelling/grammar,etc.)
Appropriate academic references are provided, where necessary.
If submission is an adaptation, credit to original creator(s) is provided.Effectiveness as a Teaching/Learning Tool
The description and learning objectives/outcomes (if provided) and instructional use are clear.
The specific audience is identified.
The resource helps learners engage effectively with the product, concept, skill, or idea.Ease of Use
The tool is easy to use (i.e. navigation, user control).
The tool is easy to access and is available anywhere, anytime.
The submission must be accessible/viewable using one of the readers listed in submission guidelines.
The tool is customizable and can be adapted to suit the needs of other institutions.
(Note: Normally a rating of "not at all" on any question by the reviewers will require that the author provide additional information or revision of the information literacy tool before it is accepted to the repository.)
If your resource cannot be accommodated by the Creative Commons License, please contact LILAC.
